Integri and Micropross team up to propose combined test solution for NFC applications

Companies to offer one integrated solution for Level 1 testing of NFC cards and readers


Brussels – 29 May 2009 – Integri, a leading provider of expertise and test tools for payment, ticketing and mobile applications, and MicroPross, leading supplier of test hardware, today announce a partnership dedicated to offering an advanced test solution conform the NFC Forum specifications for Near Field Communication technology. The longstanding relationship between both companies will now provide unique test technology helping the industry to make NFC the killer-application the community is looking forward to.

Before launching an NFC project, cards and readers need to be verified and debugged to ensure accuracy and interoperability. Both companies now release extended developments for a tool to test NFC applications at communication and timing levels (Level 1) covering ISO 14443 type A & B, Felica and MiFare.

Within the scope of the collaboration, MicroPross delivers the reliable TCL2 card testing equipment with software command, already used by specialized companies like Inside Contactless, to ensure compliance to the NFC requirements (Active, passive, target and initiator mode). Integri delivers test software that enables to run the test scenarios, automate features and perform monitoring. The tool, being the result of 10 years of collaboration and joint development, ensures a perfect fit of hardware and software. Both companies will offer a single point of contact for technical support guaranteeing a fast and effective service.
